Free for partners today
You are paid your property's own money: the rent for the months booked, any maintenance you charge, and the security deposit you hold for the student. Hostelova's service fee is paid by the student, on top of your rent — it never comes out of your payout.
A student can cancel within 3 days of booking and before move-in. Their room returns to your inventory automatically, and the payout for a cancelled booking is simply never due. After that window, the booking settles to you as normal.

Your property is already on Hostelova?
Some properties are listed before their owner joins, marked Unclaimed. Claim yours instead of creating a duplicate — you keep the visibility it has already built, and once approved it is yours to manage.
Does it cost anything to list my hostel or PG?
No. Listing is free today — no listing fee, no commission and no subscription. Students pay a service fee at checkout, on top of your rent; it is never deducted from what you are owed.
Will Hostelova charge owners in the future?
We may add optional paid features later, such as promoted placement. If we ever introduce a fee for owners, we will tell you by email and on your dashboard at least 30 days before it applies, it will never apply to bookings made before the change, and you can take your listing down before then.
Can I sign up as a partner on the website?
Yes. Create your partner account and add your property right here, or in the Hostelova Android app under Owner Login. It is the same account, so you can start in one and continue in the other.
Can I add my property before my account is approved?
No. Adding a property opens once your owner account is verified. Until then this page and the app show your verification status and let you upload or resubmit documents.
How much do I receive when a student books?
Your property's own money: the room rent for the booked months, any maintenance you charge, and the security deposit you will be holding. Your settlement shows exactly those lines and nothing else.
When do I get paid?
Every paid booking creates a settlement entry. A student can cancel within 3 days of booking and before move-in; after that window the payout is settled, and the bank UTR or UPI reference and date appear on the entry.
What documents do I need?
Your Aadhaar number and clear photos of the front and back. Proof that you control the property — a rent agreement, electricity bill or property paper — and a selfie with your Aadhaar can be added from the verification screen, and our team may ask for them. Documents are stored privately and seen only by the verification team.
How long does verification take?
Usually within 48 hours of a complete submission. Your account and each listing are reviewed, and you are told if anything needs correcting.
Can I list more than one property?
Yes. One partner account can hold several hostels, PGs and flats, each with its own rooms, photos and prices.
My property is already on Hostelova. What do I do?
Claim it instead of creating a duplicate. Your claim is reviewed, and once approved the listing and its visibility become yours to manage.
